PNZ has access to both compliance and voluntary carbon markets, either directly or through one of our trading partners. Allowances and carbon units are bought, sold and managed based on the needs identified through monitoring and the units generated through monetization.Compliance markets
We provide access to regulated allowances such as EU ETS 1, EU ETS 2, UK ETS, CH ETS, FuelEU, Scope 3, CORSIA credits, REC (Renewable Energy Certificate). We help you buy, sell and manage allowances to meet surrender obligations and hedge your price exposure.
Voluntary markets
We give access to verified carbon credits from projects certified under recognised standards, to support your net-zero commitments and to sell the units issued through Carbon Monetization.
Direct access and trading partners
Where we hold direct market access, we execute trades ourselves, which provides speed and transparency. Where we do not, we work with carefully selected trading partners, so you can reach the full range of markets without opening multiple accounts.
